SUPPORTING YOUNG WOMEN SCIENTISTS — PRACTICAL DIALOGUE WITH UN WOMEN

Today, increasing women’s participation in science and innovation, as well as supporting young women scientists, has become one of the key priorities of international cooperation.

📆 In this regard, a meeting was held with representatives of UN Women, the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women, with the participation of officials from the Department of Science, Education and Innovation of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, as well as representatives of the Tashkent Research Institute of Vaccines and Sera.

🔵 During the discussion, the parties addressed issues related to women’s economic empowerment, expanding women’s participation in startup programs, and strengthening gender approaches in research activities.

📌 The sides also identified cooperation areas aimed at organizing training programs for women entrepreneurs and young women scientists, as well as expanding opportunities for participation in digital exhibitions and international platforms.

🔘 At the conclusion of the meeting, an agreement was reached to implement joint projects and further develop practical cooperation in the future.
